I went to the one the other day in Boulder. I'm hooked. Love the format, and the people are awesome!

    Anyone wanna carpool from Boulder?

Who attended?

  • 255 attendees
    •  Not quite the octane level of the boulder event, but there is a lot of talent in Denver so I hope this meetup crystallizes further. Net-Results was the highlight tonight. I know it is supremely difficult to find a good venue in Denver (parking, North and South commuter access, availability, etc), but if we could improve on the acoustics, it would help with the audience interaction. The speakers were sometimes hard to hear.
    •  It would be great to have the food and mingling downstairs until the crowd grows too large to accommodate that set-up. The two floor layout makes it more difficult to network. Additionally, having everyone together will help establish a better environment/vibe that this meetup is the place for Denver to be!
    •  Learning more and more about Denver Tech, but i still have allot more to learn. If you are doing tech in Denver reach out to me via email [masked] or twitter menro. thanks for coming along for the ride.
    •  Not as great as the Boulder event. Partly the crowd in Denver is not as enthusiastic and party the presenters were not as good. I really want the Denver New Tech to work. Denver should be able to sustain a healthy tech meetup.
    •  I like the informal networking atmosphere. I also liked the way the host grilled the presenters.
    •  Valiant effort by the organizer to stimulate the audience - which finally came to life.
    •  was a little late so did not get to network as much as I would have liked was interesting, but not overwhelming; I will try to attend additional meetings
    •  This was my first meeting. The presentations were well done and I had some interesting conversations with other attendees.
    •  This was my first meetup and so I did not know exactly what to expect. The presenters had some interesting information, especially Camberly Bates. I think she was clearest and most succinct in getting her main message across. My personal interest lies in people with product inventions that require tooling and manufacturing process plans and real work to bring them to market. Most of what I saw was web-based, analytical ideas and products instead of real hardware. Still, some of what was presented is useful and interesting to me.
    •  This was my first time and I presented - and I feel like it went very well. I really enjoyed meeting people inside and outside of my field and networking. I will definitely be attending over and over. Nicely done.
    •  It was great to get exposure to different business ideas and business models out there. As an entrepreneur I thrive on new ideas so I love forums to exchange those!
    •  First one. Pretty positive feeling overall. Not yet outstanding. 2 of the 6 presenters story/slides needed lots of work, not your fault but some standards would apply. Maybe you should have 1 draw card on the agenda, and then only 4-5 presenters.??
    •  This was my first event and I thought it was very interesting. I really liked the way people were able to make announcements regarding hiring and events coming up. I also thought the presentations, perhaps with the exception of the Magento one, were really good and interesting.
    •  Second time at Metro State. Tivoli just doesn't have the sound system, it's a dark room, and the screens are small. The seating isn't comfortable for an 1 1/2 to 2 hour pitch session....it's designed for college kids. DU is a superior venue except for the convenience of getting to it in traffic (sound, stage, lighting, comfort of the seating, ability to see presentations (angled auditorium)....it's a more positive experience. Great presenters of quality companies tonight. I learned some useful information.
