would like to bring a guest

Who attended?

  • 250 attendees
    •  Getting tired of social networking presentations. This is not "new tech". May be new products, marketing and ways to aggregate info, but the the technology is not "new". I would be interesting to see what ROI all the social networking has, i.e. hard data.
    •  This was my first event. Great topics! Topics were well screened in advance and this is appreciated. Good follow on questions and discussion. The event definitely attracts bright minds and that will bring me back to the next event.
    •  I found the event quite interesting. A few of the presenters lost me, and I think it was because they jumped right into the technical merits of their products without a brief introduction. Before seeing a demo I'd like to know who uses the product, the problems it solves, pricing, availability, etc. See you at BDNT next month.
    •  Had a great time chatting with other interesting people. Product presentations was well run. Moderator/facilitator was great! Need better food!
    •  enjoying the denver vibe
    •  I enjoyed the presenters and the Q&A. This is a very open group. I also met some great new contacts... people with common interests. We could use nametags.....
    •  Some of the presentations were good, some not so good. In either case, it was fun to see.
    •  The event was well-run, and the presenters tried hard. The content was rather uninspiring, however. I was hoping for more inspirational presentations, not just sales pitches for tech that is only marginally new.
    •  Though I've only been to a couple of meetings, I always meet someone I know or someone great I don't know. Love the tough questions the crowd gives the presenters. GREAT practice for real world investors or customers. All in all, very cool. Keep it up!
    •  wonderful meeting, very informative, great networking opportunity
    •  'twas okay. I'll be back, though. Always good to meet new people. Energy is less than Boulder but still positive. This time, companies demonstrating not aligned with my interests.
    •  1. Well organized and on time
    •  I thought it was good but sitting on my hands for nearly 45 minutes waiting for it to get started (at the stated 6pm start time) was hugely disappointing and an inconsiderate waste of time. Not trying to be an ass, just saying that if the start time is 6 start at 6, I made plans to be there a little early so I wouldn't miss anything only sit there thinking of all things I could have been doing.
    •  Almost impossible to hear questions from the floor and also job announcements.. Mobile microhones????
    •  Very interesting and great networking opportunity. Thanks for organizing this, Robert!
    •  The excitement is missing from this meeting compared to Boulder. As a denver resident, it is kind of embarrassing. I think that a new forum should be selected. The size of the meeting room with the high ceilings creates a different atmosphere. The room is dark and it is hard to hear because of echo. I would suggest a different meeting place that is similar in terms of the physical structure as the Boulder meeting.
    •  A Highly focused tech group and useful hanger's on (recruiters). No uninterested parties present. Keep up with what's shakin' out there. This area moves so fast Monthy is barely enough. Robert always brings out bleeding edge Companies of interest and value.
    •  Interesting new companies, seemed a little disorganized at first. Rob did a good job of facilitating once it got going.
    •  2 social network tools 2 real tech tools - 1 of which was just a bit much for a 5 minute presentation 1 fun cool sports app. over all not bad for my first visit to the meetup. I will be back, looking to see what else there is out there. I can't imagine trying to get the point across in 5 minutes, but most of the info was great.
    •  Very insightful. I thought the format was excellent-start on time, finish early. Not sure if it is the right place for me though. My business supports start up companies through managing the challenges of Human Resouce Requirements. I will stay connected for a couple more meetings. I would not want this group to turn into a leads group. Much to on the ball for that. Mark
    •  Great meeting. Need nametags
