Talk about this Meetup

Folks able to laugh at themselves, as well as others. Very human. Check out the Nexus!

Who attended?

  • 337 attendees
    •  I actually left the meeting b/c I couldn't find a seat. Looks like there's still a great turnout...
    • Noah I. Madinger (+1 guest)
I am so happy to see the tech force out in full. Perhaps, if some more time were allowed to the presenters, it wouldn't feel so rushed.
    •  Great energy, lively and enthusiastic crowd. The presenters for the most part were "ho-hum" at best. Poorly planned or executed demo across the board. Liquid Scenario, especially, seemed not ready for prime time. I did like Matt's gadget recap at the end. Keep him on the agenda each month.
    •  Another great event!
    •  Always have a great time. Good to see Matt with the gadgets.
    • Chris Meyer (+1 guest)
Was great, learned quite a bit about what's going on locally and it was great to put some faces to twitter feeds.
    •  I enjoyed the presentations very much. I do find the projected twitter updates kind of a negative. But that probably puts me in the minority.
    •  Very interesting, except for the powerpoint technical challenges of the first presenter.
    •  Technology issues were a bit distracting but the content was great and I appreciate the moderator's skill in keeping everyone on schedule! Looking forward to the next one! Shirley
    • Ben Wilkoff (+1 guest)
Again, the meeting was great for networking and hearing what people are doing. Presentations were definitely not as honed as December's. I wanted to talk to the announcement people more than the presenters afterward.
    •  Interesting topics and useful networking opportunities. I'll definitely attend again!
    •  Excellent forum. Learned a lot. Met a lot of superb people. I will be back!
    •  Excellent.
    •  outstanding! I really enjoy the new Gadget section, definitely worth having monthly.
    •  It's always a hoot when the tech in tech meetings doesn't work! Keep trying. Great presenters!(again)
    •  Great presentations even with some tech glitches.
    •  It was my first New Tech Meetup. It was a good event. The room was full of very enthusiastic techies. Presenters did a great job with the little time they had. They need to be better prepared.
    •  First time attending. Enjoyed the meeting. Will attend again.
    •  I wish the segment about the sales tax issue was shorter and more concise. I got the point within 30 seconds, then it went on another 10-15 minutes it felt like, and that's not why 300+ people came to the Meetup, they came mostly for the Startup presentations and to network. Also, though I liked the little gadget review segment near the end, and I thought the guy did a good job at it, it felt a little non-ideal in terms of venue and fit because we can read reviews for free on the web 24/7 from a bazillion sources, it doesn't need to be done in person in a venue with 300+ people who came to see Startup presentations & network, etc. (see reasoning above). The more non-core stuff we add to these meetings the more it takes away from the core and/or the bigger time drain for all the attendees. Like one of the early presenters said, "Time is money." Also, we may have a problem now with too many crashers (non-RSVP'ers) showing up, because I RSVP'ed but barely got a seat.
    •  Robert did an excellent job of running the meeting! This is my first meeting, so I don't really know what to expect. I will return. Thanks to all the organizers!
    •  Great networking and presentations from companies using cutting edge technologies. Good place to stay informed of new companies and opportunities in the Denver Metro area.
    •  AWESOME!!! I will attend every month.

    • Keith McGuinnes (+1 guest)
    • David Kabal (+1 guest)
    • Dan Downs (+1 guest)
