And now it looks like @Jason is one of the few guys in the world with the new Apple tablet/slate/whatever, so it will be doubly awesome to see him.

I'm psyched to see Jason Calacanis, it's great that he's coming by.

Who attended?

  • 397 attendees
    •  SRO performance. As always, fast, fun and informative. Microphones for all presenters and limited "web form" type presentations would make the BDNT Meetup even better. Thank you.
    •  Wonderful meeting with lots of energy.
    •  Fun as always. Jason Calacanis rocks (I hear him on podcasts regularly so I was psyched that you got him as a guest -- witty and insightful).
    •  Please make sure the microphone is working. I like the announcements (i.e. job openings) at the beginning but it would benefit everyone if announcements were prerecorded and displayed on the screen as the person made their announcement.
    •  Always great, insightul, entertaining

I had a great time! Robert does a great job hosting the event and moving things along nicely. We will be a presenter soon and looking forward to it!
    •  Cool to have the "Fireside Chat". Also liked seeing the previews of new tech gadgets.
    •  Super content, good mix of speakers and Robert keeps things moving in spite of strong-willed people who have a lot of interesting things to say!
    •  The only change I'd recommend for this one was to have a microphone on Jason, and to let him have more than 5 minutes. We could have ditched a couple of the presos, no problem.
    •  I'd give it a 'Great' (as the content was great as always) but the logistical/technical issues pushing the start time off by nearly 45 minutes was really problematic for those of us who need to get thier kids to bed at a realistic time frame!
    •  Another great meetup. Great company presentations. Really thought Matt Emmi did a great job with the CES presentation. And, I really enjoyed getting to hear from Jason Calacanis.
    •  One of the best I have attended, congrats on putting together a good informative meeting.. Jim Raby COMPUTERS R US Need portable mikes for people in the audience that discuss job opportunities and also for questions.. Maybe a place for them to place handouts re jobs
    •  Thought the Meetup was great...it seems that these have grown large enough to have the audio dialed in as you had some great speakers today and I was near the back and heard plenty of "I can't hear anything" whispers.
    • Art Bragg (+1 guest)
Interviewee did need a mic - he was talking to Robert and was a bit hard to hear. Other than that great meeting as always.
    •  Great format with the fireside chat, presenters, and gadgets!
    •  Thanks to Robert, @jason, and all the presentors. Well played; informative, entertaining, and useful
    •  Good speakers, great turn out. In fact, too great. The room could not safely accommodate the crowd. People were sitting on the floor and even blocking doorways.
    •  All the presenters were great
    •  Good. Lots of tech people.
