    ANother great meetup

Great to hear all the new technology companies, surprised at how everyone is leaning toward social networking in some way or another, makes me think if I'm missing out anywhere. This was my first meeting, so a nice introduction with good information. I'm glad you keep it on the technical side and no marketing fluff. I also like the Denver location as I live and work downtown, makes it much more convenient. Thanks!
  • Frank Traylor
first one, thought it was great. Intelligent presenters, intelligent audience, intelligent questions.
  • Stacey
Nice to have something in Denver. Check with Metro State and Araphahoe Community College to get something South at no or low cost.
  • Tracy Allison Altman
To keep up the fast pace, perhaps a microphone could be set up in the middle of the room, and people making announcements or asking questions could go to the microphone stand. It was frustrating because I couldn't always hear people when they were shouting across the room.
  • Debra
Totally different vibe... much less hostile crowd than usual!

This was one of the best ones I've attended! Let's move this Meetup to Denver!
  • Michael Maloney
    Interesting new company/feature presentations.
  • Patti Miller
Nice facility. Well organized. Nice to have a change of venue.
  • Craig Kendall
This was my first New Tech Meetup so I was sitting back trying to soak it all in. The presentations were interesting. Five minutes is not much time. Future presenters would do well to decide what the most important points are they would like to meet and start there. Several folks who had ah-has for the end of their presentations seemed to be squashed by being over time and in a hurry. Demonstrating apps will likely put you over. I think only the fitness app and Earthscape iPhone presentations actually got it all in with a demo. That said, it was worth the trip and I'm excited to hear Robert talking (often) about having a Denver arm of the New Tech Meetups which he's been doing in Boulder for a while.

Great Meetup. We should have more in Denver.
  • Paul Downey
Really nicely organized with an ultra-friendly tech-savvy crowd.
  • Rabin
It was my first time but awesome one. I like it and definitely would like to attend more in the future depends on commute.
  • Martha Youngq
This was my first Meetup. I had no idea what to expect. The presentations were interesting, but I had a hard time understanding the objective. Were they looking for feedback? Were they seeking investment? Were they looking for business strategy input?
  • Ben Berghoff
It seemed as though the presentations were rushed and not polished for a 5 minute window. Overall the meeting was good and the content presented was beneficial. I just would have liked to see a smoother presentation. Also, I thought the meeting date was poorly planned with the election occuring at the same date. The group was righfully distracted.

Not very well organized. Scattered presentations. No documentation available with contact names. No formal networking prior to program. No wine, beer, appetizers, etc.

I was surprised, after being told by the coordinator that no one in the group would be interested in the magazine, that I gave out the few that I did have so quickly and was swamped for nearly 30 minutes after the meetup. Just goes to show that Colorado tech professionals are thirsty for more information... Wow! I will be attending each month from now on. If it should become a regular Denver meetup in addition to the Boulder meetup - I intend to attend both.

great job. Glad we could fit in the extras from Defrag!
