They are still getting the whole schedule down for here in Denver, so it started a bit late. Hopefully future ones will allow a bit more in-depth questions.

Will take some time for group cohesion to develop as exists in Boulder. Don't know what you can do about the long-winded prof who is also the host. Have him submit an outline and you grade it before he's allowed air time? Give sponsors more visibility. Didn't see nor hear their names. We did applaud for them anyway.

Was very happy to see the MeetUp in Denver. I think that Parking at DU isn't too bad, people just didn't know where to park.

Robert - the meeting was great as usual, and funny which makes for a good time. I would like to suggest some activities at the begining which cause the audience to interact with each other. I am not a fan of corny icebreakers but any option to get to know your neighbor better forces some networking. Even if you have people just introduce themselves, give a good amout of time for them to get their conversations started, at least through "who are you" , "what do you do", "what brings you here". Looking forward to the next event. jay

Good presentations; good to hear about job openings (I'm not looking but good to hear!); good to be part of vibrant community that is doing something instead of worrying. Recommend you post parking instructions for next-time's newbies.

Robert - I met you last night - thanks for all your efforts and for bringing it to Denver!

Fun, almost like attending a mini-conference. Good presenters, and a good mix of types of product, ie, quick easy text w/ CNTXTS.com vs PingIdentity vs NewsGator vs Michael Locatis and then the DAM! Each was providing such a different tool that they weren't 'competing' w/ each other. Snippets w/ just enough info to decide whether to look further into any one of them. The DAM presentation was completely unexpected, but fun to learn about, and an excellent way for DAM to draw more people into the DAM!

I came in late so I only saw the presentations. However, I really appreciate having these meetings in Denver, as they are much easier for me to attend.

love the denver location. Can the speakers tell us why they are speaking - need to hire, need money, practicing their presentation, just getting a buzz going?

Good control and pacing of the Meetup. Nice mix of company presentations. Considering it was the first time in this venue, there were minimal technical technical difficulties, however: - Main screen needs to be brighter (difficult to see/read); - Side screens were of limited effectiveness (not very visible except for those relatively close); - Dimming the auditorium lights could have been a little less; - Followup questions should be consistently repeated so the audience knows what the presenter is commenting to. I would encourage establishing a recognizable place for the presenters to stage themselves somewhere afterward (as is done in Boulder) so people can approach them with some offline questions (unless, for some reason, they have a burning desire to escape immediately after the event).

Good first meeting. Could use some tweaks here and there.

Thanks for hosting another great event Robert and for making this happen. We don't know how good we have it here. I know some said that it was a little flat, but it's a new venue, larger than the Boulder one, but the same great folks were there contributing and presenting. We all had some brews, learned some stuff and got to have some fun along the way. I am not sure what more we can expect, maybe a free box of Girl Scout cookies.

Parking was such a problem I turned around and went home. I'm not going to drive 40 minutes each way to attend and spend 30 minutes looking for a parking spot for a 1.5 hour meeting.

Great....Wish it had started on time, but once the program got going it was great. The acoustics were pretty good also.

I realize that because of the New Venue we needed to give the mic to DU personnel, OK but too long. Most of the presenters were great. Parking is a drag. We need help knowing where to park, officially and when that doesn't work, alternatives. Nice location in general, and the auditorium is excellent. I would have giving it a "great" except the traffic and parking. I'm sure with time, will figure out better routes and options. Any, insider help is appreciated. Thanks Robert.

Robert does a great job of putting these together and thanks to DU for hosting... I'm not sure if it was the environment (could have been since stage is so far from people and lights may obscure presenters from seeing crowd), but tonight seemed flatter than the BOULDER Boulder Denver New Tech Meetup.

Not sure, couldn't get there, NO available public parking.

loved the commute (i'm in Denver) -- terrible parking (i'll do the lightrail next time)

Crowd less interactive. Presenters from CIO and Denver Art Museum seemed like filler. Would have appreciated the more energized atmosphere of Boulder's meetup, where more startups present, where Brad Feld talks, and where the audience is more engaged. Not bad for a first meetup, though. Perhaps this one will get to be more like Boulder's in time.

Great introductory Denver meeting -- I'd love to see some more technology-oriented presentations, and also discussion on the new technology atmosphere in Denver vs. Boulder. I'm glad we're starting the monthly Denver meeting, I look forward to seeing how it evolves.

Neat program. Great format. Would have enjoyed more time to network.

I thought it was great but finding the place was hard to find

It was great to see so many new people at the Denver-BDNT Meetup. Great location but felt like it was a bit too formal. I'm used to the Boulder crowd/scene where heckling is encouraged and the atmosphere is a bit more laid back and friendly. Looking forward to the next one!

It could have been better. Most speakers were subpar. The CIO from Colorado was horrible.

Such a wonderful even as usual, Robert! Thank you! I had to leave a few mintues early (only 5 til so didn't feel complete), CIO felt out of context as did the person speaking up on her own poltical DPS agenda. Different crowd compared to Boulder for sure. Great meeting space - layout, temp, seating! Terrible parking situation. Still don't like the twitter up live. Took offense to offensive folks twittering in the audience, esp. hair and Brad comments. Frustrated that I didn't make the cut off to RSVP for the Boulder MeetUp but plan to show up anyway, just FYI! Thanks again, so much, for arranging this, making it happen and executing it the way you do!! Clearly, supply/demand and CO has the potential to be an even much greater power house than it presently is, esp. if the bubbles (DTC, Denver, Boulderrespectively) could actually come together! I don't get disconnectedness between these parts of town less than 20 miles from one another!

Parking was hard to find and the meetup started really late.

Great venue, nice to be in Denver. I am totally guessing at the number of people who attended in the form above. not good at that. I didn't actually learn that much more than I already knew from the presentations but it was good to get DU and the city involved.
