    This week's IDEA STUDIO

Posted by: Lindsey Gallagher Lindsey Gallagher on Feb 26, 2010

Hey New Tech-ees! As I've mentioned, Boulder Digital Works does Idea Studios typically every Wednesday (5PM-7PM). Details are below. On March 3, Dave Kingsbury from Crispin Porter + Bogusky will be speaking. Dave spends his time at CP+B in the Cultural and Business Insights Group. As a 'Senior Cog', Kingsbury?s role is what many agencies would typically call a ?Planner?, whose focus is strategy. On clients spanning CP+B's world class brand portfolio (Microsoft, Burger King and VW, to name a few) the Cogs get behind the business and into the hearts and minds of the consumers, the category, the landscape and competition, and translate that into strategy. For 7 years prior to CP+B Kingsbury was a Principal at Radar Communications, a qualitative market research consultancy that CP+B acquired in May of 2007. Radar worked with leading brands like Intel, HP, GM, J & J and many others to develop better and more meaningful ways to connect with customers. You don't want to miss him, he's phenomenal!

    Beers after New Tech

Posted by: Ben Hadley Ben Hadley on Aug 9, 2009

Hey Robert & crew - just when the ideas & conversations begin to flow, these meet-ups end. Let's start identifying a single location and encouraging participants to go have a beer and socialize. Locations will cut us a discount if we know how many attendees they can entice. Someone has to go first. For the upcoming Denver Meetup, how about here: http://www.brooklynsrestaurants.com/

    Boulder Digital Works "Idea Studio"

Posted by: Lindsey Gallagher Lindsey Gallagher on Feb 22, 2010

Every Wednesday, Boulder Digital Works puts on "Idea Studio." This is an interactive presentation in which different leaders and entrepreneurs come in each week from advertising, design, product, innovation, web, etc. agencies and speak to the public (and all of us at BDW) about what they do, how they got there, and how to think creatively. For some, the digital world is intimidating. For others it's a piece of cake. Regardless of your knowledge you'll always get something out of it. It's a great networking opportunity and BDW is so lucky to have these creative minds share their ideas and insights with us. Like I said it's every Wednesday, typically from 5PM-7PM at Boulder Digital Works in downtown Boulder near Pearl Street. (www.boulderdigitalworks.com)

This Wednesday February 24, 5PM-7PM Tim Shisler (http://timshisler.squarespace.com/)
